Jean Genets Version eines Schwulenpornos Un Chant d'Amour und dessen Dekonstruktion in Jerry Tartaglias Filmexperiment Ecce Homo; Barbara Hammers legendärer Film Dyketactics als Versuch, eine eigene Sprache für das weibliche/lesbische Begehren zu finden; die cinematographische Konstruktion des männlichen Genitals in Hermes Bird oder die filmische Annäherung an den weiblichen Akt in Both.

This film programme honours the contributions experimental lesbian and gay filmmakers have made to the history of cinema. 'Queer' can also mean to skew, to deviate from conventions, to alter. These programmes explore how lesbian and gay film-makers have attempted to queer cinema, to fashion new cinematic forms, and explore new identitites as they embark on what Sue Golding calls 'the ever-impossible journey to find out.'
